Using Kinkeep
You may use Kinkeep only in compliance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for information you add, the accuracy of household records, and activity performed through your account or device.
Accounts and households
Local mode does not require an account. Synced features require an eligible account. A Kinkeep Household is administered by its owner, who may invite up to four additional accounts. Invitees must use their own accounts and may access content shared within that household. Keep invitations and devices secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Subscriptions
Paid household features may be offered through an app marketplace. Current price, billing period, trial, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are shown before purchase and are also governed by the marketplace. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not normally create a retroactive refund. Features available during a beta or promotional period may change before general release.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Kinkeep, probe or bypass access controls, interfere with service operation, automate abusive requests, upload unlawful or harmful content, impersonate another person, or use Kinkeep to violate another person's rights.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you enter. You grant Kinkeep a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the right to share content with household members.
Third-party services
Kinkeep may rely on sign-in, app marketplace, infrastructure, and product-information providers. Their services and content are governed by their own terms. Barcode and product information may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be verified where it matters.
Not safety-critical advice
Kinkeep provides organizational reminders, not professional food-safety, medical, financial, or emergency advice. Expiry and stock information depends on the data entered and device behavior. Always use independent judgment about food safety, recalls, medication, hazardous materials, and other high-risk items.
Beta availability
Pre-release versions may contain defects, lose test data, or change without notice. We may suspend or discontinue beta access to maintain security, reliability, or legal compliance.
Disclaimer
To the extent allowed by law, Kinkeep is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free data, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Kinkeep and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits, or losses caused by reliance on inventory, expiry, shopping, or product information. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Termination
You may stop using Kinkeep at any time. We may limit or terminate access for material violations, abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions can be sent through Kinkeep Support.
